A Master's in Psychology is a step beyond earning a Bachelor's Degree and is generally accepted as the professional minimum standard for psychology careers. Professionals with a master's degree in psychology can become qualified for clinical positions, such as counselors or social workers. Most graduate students pursuing Masters training either enter clinical study, research, or apply learning toward PhD studies to become a Psychologist or Psychiatrist with additional training.
